Missing man located, Michael Reitemeier, 40

The Toronto Police Service would like to thank the public for their assistance locating a missing man.

Michael Reitemeier, 40, was last seen on Friday, December 2, 2011, at 4 p.m.,
in the Glen Everest Road/Kingston Road area.

He was located on Wednesday, December 7, 2011, at 11 a.m.

Homicide #43/2011, Victor Seung, 33, Update, Police are requesting assistance locating a black iPhone 3G

On Friday, December 2, 2011, at 1:15 p.m. police responded a call for a body found in a car on Willowdale Avenue.

Police are attempting to locate a black, worn-out iPhone 3G. The cell phone may be in the area bounded by Goddard Street to the west, Sheppard Street West to the south, Bathurst Street, including Canyon Avenue, to the east and Horsham Avenue to the north.

Police are asking area residents or dog walkers to be aware of your their surroundings.

If found, do not touch the phone but call 9-1-1.

Police request assistance with assault investigation

The Toronto Police Service is requesting the public's assistance with an assault investigation.

On Tuesday, December 6,2011, at 2:48 a.m., police received a call for an assault in the Duncanwoods Drive/Seacliffe Boulevard area.

It is reported that:

- a 23-year-old woman was walking along Seacliff Boulevard when she
saw two males assaulting a young girl,

- when the woman called out for the males to stop, they turned their attention to her and began assaulting her,

- as a passing motorist approached, the two males ran away toward Duncanwoods Drive,

- the young girl also ran off,

- the woman was taken to hospital and treated for non life-threatening injuries.

The two male suspects are described as:

1) black, 5’3" – 5’5", approximately 16 years, with a stocky build. He was wearing a black hoodie with white logo on the front, black doo-rag, black baseball cap, blue denim pants with a rip in the knee.

2) black, 5’9 - 5’10", approximately 16 years, with a medium build. He was wearing a red hoodie with a multicoloured logo on chest and the word “revenge” in multicolours on the sleeve, green Converse High-Top shoes, acid-wash denim pants, black baseball cap with, possibly, a Blue Jays logo on the front.

Police are looking to identify the girl and the driver of the passing car.

Two men face six charges during a demonstration at the U.S. Consulate

On Tuesday, December 6, 2011, at approximately 1 p.m., officers were assigned to assist with a demonstration in the area of University Avenue, south of Dundas Street West.

It is alleged that:

- the protesters marched south on University Avenue to the U.S Consulate at 360 University Avenue,

- officers stood outside the consulate to ensure the safety of the building and those inside, and to prevent the protesters from entering the building,

- during the demonstration, a small group people became violent and two men were arrested.

Bantshi Mbakama, 45, of Toronto, has been charged with:

1. Unlawful Assembly
2. Attempt Forcible Entry
3. two counts of Assault Peace Officer


Fataki Martin, 26, of Toronto, has been charged with:

1. Unlawful Assembly,
2. Assault Peace Officer

Both accused are scheduled to appear in court at Old City Hall on Wednesday, December 7, 2011, 10 a.m., room 101.

Missing girl, Jemyra Toby, 12

The Toronto Police Service is requesting the public’s assistance locating a missing girl.

Jemyra Toby, 12, was last seen on Tuesday, December 6, 2011, at 12:30 p.m., in the Sheppard Avenue/Yonge Street area.

She is described as black, 5’8”, 150 lbs., and was wearing a beige winter coat, pink hat, pink sweater, grey leggings and pink shoes. Police are concerned for her safety.

Sexual Assault Alert, Police request assistance identifying a man, Three security camera photographs released

The Toronto Police Service would like to alert the public to a sexual assault investigation and is requesting the public's help identifying a wanted man.

On Sunday, December 4, 2011, it is reported that:

- a woman was travelling eastbound to Toronto on a VIA Train from London, Ontario, at approximately 3:50 p.m.,

- during the trip, the woman was awakened by a man sexually assaulting her.

The suspect is described as white, 60-70, 5’10"-6’, 160 lbs., with a slim build, white hair and a goatee. He was wearing a grey cardigan, black dress shoes and carrying a backpack.

Security camera photographs of the suspect have been released.
