Police request assistance with an arson investigation, Wooden play structure within High Park
The Toronto Police Service is requesting the public's assistance with an arson investigation.
On Saturday, March 17, 2012, at 2:53 a.m., police received a radio call for a large fire in the Parkside Drive/Spring Road area, within High Park.
It is reported that:
- a large wooden childrens play structure inside High Park was set on fire, causing extensive damage

Public Safety Alert, Lost medication, Danforth Avenue/Linsmore Boulevard area
The Toronto Police Service would like to make the public aware of a quantity of lost medication.
On Friday, March 16, 2012, at approximately 1:30 p.m., six 100 ml bottles of methadone were lost in the Danforth Avenue/Linsmore Boulevard area.
The drugs could be harmful or fatal if ingested, especially to children.

He is described as white, 53, 165 lbs., with a medium build and grey, receding hairline and blue eyes.
He was last seen wearing a blue jacket with red trim, black baseball cap, metal rimmed glasses with a sunglass clip, light green pants and blue/grey running shoes.
Police are concerned for his safety.

He is described as 54, 120 lbs., with short, black hair. He wears glasses.
Police are concerned for his safety.
