Police request assistance with High Park arson investigation, Update, Man faces two charges, Christian Kupiecki, 19
The Toronto Police Service is requesting the public's assistance with an arson investigation.
On Saturday, March 17, 2012, at approximately 3 a.m., police were called to the Parkside Drive/Spring Road area, within High Park, for a large fire.

On Friday, March 23, 2012, Christian Kupiecki, 19, of Toronto, was arrested.
He is charged with:
1) Arson
2) Attempt to obstruct justice
He is scheduled to appear in court at Old City Hall, on Tuesday, May 1, 2012.

Homicide #11/2012, Khadeem Antoine, 19, Update, Man charged with First Degree murder, Brian Mendonca, 18
On Friday, March 23, 2012, at 12:38 a.m., police responded to a stabbing call in the Bloor Street West/Aberfoyle Crescent area.
Officers attended the area and located Khadeem Antoine, 19, of Mississauga, suffering from obvious stab wounds. He was taken to hospital via emergency run. He was pronounced dead a short time later.

A post-mortem examination concluded that he died of multiple stab wounds.

He is charged with:
1) First Degree murder.

Man wanted in robbery investigation, Security camera images of suspect released
The Toronto Police Service is requesting the public's assistance identifying a man wanted in a robbery investigation.
It is reported that:
- on Monday, March 2, 2009, at 12:45 p.m., a man entered a bank on Danforth Avenue, near Dawes Road
- after waiting in line, he approached a teller and produced a note indicating that it was a robbery and gestured that he was armed
- the teller complied and the man ran out of the bank, west along Danforth Avenue to Coleman Avenue, where he fled in a vehicle
The suspect is described as white, 59"6, early 40s to early 50s, wearing pink-framed sunglasses, a black toque, and a black wool trenchcoat. He was carrying a manila envelope at the time.
Security camera images of the suspect have been released.

Man and woman charged in aggravated assualt investigation
On Wednesday, March 21, 2012, police were called to a home in the Finch Avenue East/Warden Avenue area for a medical complaint.
It is alleged that:
- emergency services attended the address and took a three-month-old child to hospital after reports that the infant had been dropped
- further examination revealed numerous serious injuries
On Thursday, March 22, 2012, Maria Sahebi, 39, of Toronto, was charged with:
1. Fail to provide the necessaries of life.
She is scheduled to appear in court at 1911 Eglinton Avenue East, in courtroom 412, on Wednesday, March 28, 2012.
On Friday, March 23, 2012, Christopher Abbott, 36, of Toronto, was charged with:
1. Aggravated assault
2. Fail to provide the necessaries of life
He is scheduled to appear in court at Old City Hall, in courtroom 101, on Saturday, March 24, 2012.
It is alleged that:

Sexual Assault Alert, Spadina Avenue/Dundas Street West area, Update Security camera images of suspect released
The Toronto Police Service would like to make the public aware of a sexual assault investigation.

It is reported that:
- on Sunday, March 18, 2012, at approximately 1:30 a.m., a 20-year-old woman attended a restaurant on Spadina Avenue, where a man befriended her
- the woman went to the washroom in the restaurant and was followed by the man
- he entered her washroom and began punching her, then sexually assaulted her
- the woman left the restaurant and was assisted by a citizen, on Spadina Avenue, who called police
She was treated in hospital for her injuries and released.
Police have released security camera images of the suspect. Investigators have secured security camera video and are in the process of preparing it for release to the public to assist in identifying the suspect.
The suspect is described as white, mid-20s, 5'7"-5'9", with brown, shaggy hair, a goatee, and green/blue eyes. He was last seen wearing a green T-shirt and jeans. He was carrying a backpack and wearing a green hat.

The Toronto Police Service is alerting the public to the arrest of an acupuncturist in a sexual assault investigation.
It is alleged that:
- on Sunday, February 19, 2012, at approximately 3:30 p.m., a 28-year-old
woman sought treatment at Suiki Health Beauty Acupuncture Centre, at 428 Dundas Street West
- during the treatment the woman was sexually assaulted by a practitioner
On Thursday, March 22, 2012, Jin Wen Zhou, 41, also known as Raymond Chow, of Toronto, was charged with:
1. Sexual Assault
He appeared in court at Old City Hall on Friday, March 23, 2012, at 10 a.m., room 101.
Police believe there may be more victims.

On Tuesday, January 17, 2012, police responded to a robbery call at a home in the Yonge Street/Sheppard Avenue West area.
It is alleged that:
- a woman and her daughter were at home when two masked men entered the home, one armed with a handgun
- the men demanded money from the woman
- the men tied the woman and girl to chairs as they searched the home looking for valuables
- the men ran from the home
- police arrested one of the men (Bruce Lewis) as he fled in a taxi
Bruce Lewis, 36, of Toronto, is charged with:
1. Robbery While Armed with a Firearm
2. Disguise with Intent
3. Fail to Comply with Probation
4. Possession for the Purpose Marijuana (under)
