BOWLING ALLEY SECURITY GUARD SHOT-KILLED

PORTLAND OR — A man fatally shot outside a Southeast Portland bowling alley early Sunday morning was later identified as a security guard who was working at the time.
Police were called just before 1:30 a.m. to the report of a shooting outside the Grand Central Restaurant and Bowling Lounge, in the 800 block of SE Morrison Street, according to Sgt. Pete Simpson of the Portland Police Bureau.
Officers at the scene found a gunshot victim near the front door of the bowling alley. Medical crews responded and determined the man had died. Police said Sunday afternoon the victim was a bouncer working for Grand Central.
Homicide detectives were investigating. Police did not say if the shooting was gang-related.
The name of the victim has not been released yet.

- police located a 41-year-old woman suffering from apparent gunshot wounds to the body
The woman was taken to hospital and later died.
A post-mortem examination has yet to be scheduled.
The name of the victim is being withheld, pending notification of next-of-kin.

It is reported that:
- on Tuesday, August 17, 2010, at 7 p.m., a man walked into a grocery store in the Dupont Street/Spadina Road area
- the man was armed with a large butcher knife
- the man stole a quantity of money and fled the scene
It is further reported that:
- on Thursday, August 19, 2010, at 1:45 p.m., the same man robbed the same store and stole a quantity of money

Police request assistance with voyeurism investigation, Update, YouTube video released
It is reported that:
- on Tuesday, January 24, 2012, at 8:55 p.m., a woman entered a washroom at Stacy Lecture Hall, at York University
- the woman noticed, in one of the washroom stalls, large shoes that appeared to belong to a man
- the woman exited the washroom and waited outside with a friend
- the woman activated the security alarm button
- the man exited the washroom and fled the scene
The suspect is described as brown, 21-23, 6, 185 lbs., short, chinstrap beard, and a square jaw. He was last seen wearing dark-blue or black jeans, flat brown or dark-green shoes with beige soles and two lines down the side, a dark-grey hoodie with a black jacket over the top and carrying a dark brown or black backpack.

Man wanted in mischief/break-and-enter investigation, Security camera image of suspect released
It is reported that:
- on Tuesday, January 24, 2012, at 3:15 a.m., a man entered an apartment building on Oak Street
- the man used a brick to smash the large glass door in the main lobby, then enter the common areas of the building
- the man is also believed to be responsible for several break-and-enters in the area
The suspect is described as white, 20-25, 57-510, with short, dark hair and thick, bushy eyebrows. He was last seen wearing a black cloth coat, a black sweatshirt , a white undershirt showing at the collar, faded black denim jeans, and black runners with white accents.

Man faces two charges in marijuana investigation
It is alleged that:
- police seized approximately 800 marijuana plants
Lawrence Johnson, 46, of Toronto, was arrested and charged with:
1) Produce Marijuana
2) Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking Marijuana
He was scheduled to appear in court at Old City Hall, on Friday, January 27, 2012, at 10 a.m., room 103.

It is alleged that:
- a man stabbed a woman in the chest with a knife
- the man fled the apartment
- the man then stabbed a man in the chest, several times, in the same building
- the man then left the apartment building in an unknown direction
Both victims were taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Jason Gardner, 27, of no fixed address, is wanted for:
1) two counts of Aggravated Assault
He is described as 6 and 181 lbs., He was last seen wearing a black leather jacket, black shoes, black pants and black toque
He is considered armed and dangerous. Do not approach. Call 9-1-1.

Five men arrested in armed robbery investigation
It is alleged that:
- five men entered the restaurant with their faces covered,
- the men, armed with guns and a knife, ordered the three employees and eight patrons to ground,
- the men then robbed the occupants of their money and cell phones,
- the men then removed money from the cash registers and liquor from the bar before fleeing.
The men were arrested a short time later.
Brian Pich, 23, of Mississauga, Javon Edwards, 24, of Toronto, Brian Mensah, 22, of Toronto, Awale Dirie, 18, of Toronto, and Aman Ali, 18, of Toronto, are each charged with:
1) 11 counts of Robbery while armed with a firearm,
2) 11 counts of Forcible confinement,
3) Disguise with intent,
4) Assault with weapon,
5) Weapons dangerous.
In addition, Brian Mensah is charged with:
1) three counts of Possession of firearm contrary to prohibition order,
2) Fail to comply with recognizance,
3) Fail to comply with probation.
In addition, Aman Ali is charged with:
1) two counts of Fail to comply with probation.
