Missing boy located Kidus Kidane, 17

The Toronto Police Service would like to thank the public for their assistance locating a missing boy.

Kidus Kidane, 17, was last seen on Monday, November 21, 2011, at 8 a.m., in the Weston Road/Lawrence Avenue West area.

He was located on Wednesday, November 30, 2011.

In September 2011, the Toronto Police Service Drug Squad and 31 Division Community Response Officers started a drug investigation due to ongoing community concerns.

It is alleged that:

-the accused men sold heroin to an undercover police officer

It is further alleged that:

- on Tuesday, November 30, 2011, police executed six search warrants at homes and businesses and three vehicles within the 31 Division area

- police seized 84 grams of heroin and 161 grams of marijuana valued at $33,320 and $11,650 in Canadian and American currency

Nana Opoku, 27, of Toronto, has been charged with 11 drug-related offences, including Traffic in Heroin and Possession of Proceeds of Crime.

Kevin Prince, 54, of Toronto, has been charged with 11 drug-related offences, including Conspiracy to commit indictable offence, Possession for the Purpose Heroin and Possession of Proceeds of Crime.

Kwadwo Nimako, 28, of Toronto, is wanted for:

1) Traffic in Heroin,
2) Possession of Proceeds of Crime,
3) Conspiracy to commit indictable offence.

He is described as black, 6’1" and 180 lbs.

Traffic Fatality #32/2011

On Thursday, December 1, 2011, at approximately 1:05 a.m., police responded to a personal injury collision on Jane Street south of Lawrence Avenue West.

It is reported that:

- a 51-year-old man was struck by a motor vehicle that was northbound on Jane Street just south of Lawrence Avenue West

The man sustained major injuries and was taken to hospital where he was pronounced dead.

The name of the victim is not being released at this time.

The Toronto Police Service would like to make the public aware of a quantity lost medication.

On Wednesday, November 30, 2011, at 1 p.m., it is reported that:

- a bag containing three bottles of Suboxone, also known as Methadone, was lost in the Greenwood Avenue/Danforth Avenue area.

The medication could be harmful or fatal if ingested, especially to children.

Two men face 22 charges, Drugs and loaded firearm seized

On Monday, November 28, 2011, the Gun and Gang Task Force executed a search warrant at the Deluxe Motel at 1554 The Queensway.

It is alleged that:

- during the search warrant, a quantity of Oxycontin and a loaded .40 calibre handgun were seized

Oneil Green, 28, and Zachary Barton, 26, both of Toronto, have each been charged with:

1. Possession of a Restricted Firearm with Ammunition
2. Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm
3. Possession of a Firearm Knowing its Possession is Unauthorized
4. Possession of Firearm Obtained by the Commission of an Offence
5. Careless Storage of a Firearm
6. Careless Storage Ammunition
7. Possess Firearm Knowing the Serial Number has been Altered, Defaced or Removed
8. Unauthorized Possession of a Prohibited Device
9. Possession for the Purpose Controlled Substance
10. Possession of Proceeds of Crime
11. Possession of Firearm Contrary to Prohibition Order

Both accused appeared in court at Old City Hall on Tuesday, November 29, 2011.
