Police request assistance with attempt abduction investigation, Composite sketch of suspect released
On Tuesday, February 7, 2012, at 6 p.m., police responded to a call for an attempt abduction in the area of College Street/Dovercourt Road.
It is reported that:
- a 10-year-old boy was walking westbound on College Street from Dovercourt Road when he was approached by a man out front of 961 College Street
- the man took a hold of the boy's wrists and attempted to pull him
- the boy screamed and managed to escape and run home
The suspect is described as white, 6’, medium build, with blonde sideburns. He had a skull tattoo on his right cheek and was wearing a blue/white baseball hat, red jacket, camouflage cargo pants, brown sandals with white socks. He also is believed to smoke.
