Missing man located, James Kang, 21
The Toronto Police Service would like to thank the public for their assistance locating a missing man.
James Kang, 21, was last seen on Wednesday, April 4, 2012, at 9:15 a.m., in the Old Kingston Road/Lawson Road area.

Public Safety Alert, Coyote sightings
On Tuesday April 3, 2012, police encountered a coyote acting aggressively in the wooded area by Cherry Beach.
As a result, officers were forced to put the animal down.
The area of the encounter had been cordoned off earlier in the day due to an ongoing and unrelated police investigation.
In light of several recent coyote sightings in the Cherry Beach area, the Toronto Police Service is reminding Toronto residents to supervise small children and dogs playing outdoors.
The Toronto Police Service also want to remind the public not to feed or approach coyotes. Although coyote sightings are common, the public is encouraged to report any aggressive or unusual coyote behaviour to their local police Division.
As a result, officers were forced to put the animal down.

Project Spring Cleanup, 23 Division Spring commercial motor vehicle safety initiative, Update, Campaign results
On Monday, April 2, 2012, 23 Division officers conducted a two-day truck inspection campaign at the Woodbine race track, 555 Rexdale Boulevard.

The campaign results are as follows:
1) 313 Commercial Truck Inspections were completed
2) 196 charges were laid, ranging from equipment violations to unsafe vehicles
3) 171 plates were removed from vehicles for being unsafe
4) two charges were laid for carrying dangerous equipment.

Two 16-year boys face four charges in robbery investigation
On Thursday, March 15, 2012, at 5:30 p.m., police responded to a call for a street robbery in the St. Dennis Drive/Don Mills Road area.
It is alleged that:
- a 16-year-old boy was robbed of his cell phone
- a threat was made to stab him
On Monday, April 2, 2012, at 7:45 p.m., police responded to a call for a street robbery in the Gateway Boulevard/Don Mills Road area.
It is alleged that:
- a 14-year-old boy was robbed of his cell phone
- a gun was indicated but not seen
On Tuesday, April 3, 2012, two 16-year-old boys were arrested and each charged with:
1) two counts of robbery.
They were scheduled to appear in court at 311 Jarvis Street, on Wednesday, April 4, 2012, at 9 a.m.
The Young Offenders cannot be named under the provisions of the Youth Criminal Justice Act.

On Saturday, May 12, 2012, between 1 p.m. and 4 p.m., at Yorkdale Shopping Centre, 3401 Dufferin Street, Centre Court, the Toronto Police Service will kick off the Canadian Cancer Society's 16th Annual Cops for Cancer event.
At 1 p.m., Deputy Chief Mike Federico, Staff Sergeant Chris Boddy and Constable Tony Vella, along with other members of the Service, will have their heads shaved.
Chief William Blair will also be present.

Shakhlo Tuychieva, 41, was last seen on Sunday, March 25, 2012 at 7 p.m., in the Bathurst Street/Finch Avenue West area.
She is described as white, 52"-54", with green/blue eyes, short black hair with dark-red highlights. She was last seen wearing a grey dress coat with fur and black shoes.
She was last seen leaving in her vehicle, a 2000 grey, Daewoo, with Ontario licence plate BESA 481.
Police are concerned for her safety.
