Missing man, Ajay Mathur, 20

The Toronto Police Service is requesting the public’s assistance locating a missing man.

Ajay Mathur, 20, was last seen on Friday, December 24, 2011, in the John Garland Boulevard/Martin Grove Road area, and was last spoken to over the phone on Saturday, December 30, 2011.

He recently arrived in Canada from India and is described as having a brown complexion, 5’10”, 161 lbs., clean-shaven, with brown eyes, and short black hair. He has large tattoos on each inner forearm.

Homicide #3/2012, Lisa Lebitka, 45

On Sunday, January 1, 2012, just after 1 p.m., police were called to a home on Airdrie Road for a missing-person call.

The victim has been positively identified as Lisa Lebitka, 45, of Toronto.

The cause of death is still to be determined.

On Sunday, January 1, 2012, at 2:48 a.m., police responded to a call for a stabbing near 171 East Liberty Street.

On Friday, October 7, 2011, between 12:30 p.m. and 3 p.m., on Victoria Park Avenue at Crescent Town Road, TPS officers will be joined by members from M.A.D.D. Canada, the TTC, Beck Taxi, Reliable Designated Driving Service and Giffen-Mack Funeral Home Services in a R.I.D.E. spot check.

The Toronto Police Service is reminding the public to have a responsible plan prior to going out and consuming any alcoholic beverages.

Missing man, Frank Mikic, 40

The Toronto Police Service is requesting the public's assistance locating a missing man.

Frank Mikic, 40, was last seen on Friday, September 30, 2011, at approximately 3 p.m., in the Lawrence Avenue East/Midland Avenue area.

He is described as white, 5'10", 150 lbs., with hazel eyes, and short, light-brown hair. He was wearing glasses, a white windbreaker, white ball cap, and blue jeans.

Police are concerned for his safety.
