Missing girl located, Lesiqueka Cochrane, 14
The Toronto Police Service would like to thank the public for their assistance locating a missing girl.
Lesiqueka Cochrane, 14, was last seen leaving a party on Friday, March 16, 2012, in the Chalkfarm Drive area.

Missing man located, Ajay Mathur, 20
The Toronto Police Service would like to thank the public for their assistance locating a missing man.
Ajay Mathur, 20, was last seen on Friday, December 24, 2011, in the John Garland Boulevard/Martin Grove Road area, and was last spoken to over the phone on Saturday, December 30, 2011.

On Thursday, March 22, 2012, Niagara Parks Police Service with the Niagara Regional Police Service, located human remains in the Niagara River. The remains were identified as Ajay Mathur.
A post-mortem examination was completed. Foul play is not suspected.

Man faces six charges for possession of stolen property
On Saturday, March 24, 2012, police arrested a man in connection with a stolen boat investigation.
It is alleged that:
- the accused attempted to sell a 28-foot-long racing boat, stolen from Orangeville, Ontario, to a person in Philadelphia
It is further alleged that:
- on Saturday, March 24, 2012, police seized two stolen boats and four stolen boat engines and other nautical accessories
Tufan Turanli, 29, of Toronto, has been charged with:
1) Five counts of Possession Stolen Property
2) Possession Burglar's Tools
He was scheduled to appear in court at Old City Hall, on Sunday, March 25, 2012, room 101, at 10 a.m.
Police believe there may be more victims.
55 Division Major Crime Unit officers were assisted by members of the Ontario Provincial Police, the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the Toronto Police Service Marine Unit.

On Monday, January 9, 2012, at 10:30 a.m., Acting Deputy Chief Jeff McGuire will launch a PSA campaign to reduce the number of pocket-dial and misdialled 9-1-1 calls.
Inspector Joseph Maiorano of Durham Regional Police; Inspector Paulo DaSilva, York Regional Police; Staff Superintendent Roman Boychuk, Inspector Barry Dolan, Peel Regional Police; Chief Superintendent Rick Barnum and Sergeant Kimm Horne of the OPP and Superintendent Elizabeth Byrnes of the Toronto Police Service will be in attendance and available for interviews.
During the launch, one of several videos produced by TPS Corporate Communications will be released. This launch marks one of several campaigns to be scheduled throughout the year.
Last year in Toronto, 107,000 pocket-dials were made to 9-1-1 and 116,000 calls to 9-1-1 were misdials. This PSA campaign will address the seriousness of pocket-dialing that places the public lifeline in jeopardy.

The Toronto Police Service is requesting the public's assistance locating a missing boy.
Wade Chafe, 16 was last seen, on Saturday, January 7, 2012, at 8:39 a.m., in the Islington Avenue/Bloor Street West area. He is described as white, 53, 120 lbs., with short brown hair. He was last seen wearing black cargo pants, black army-style boots, a black baseball cap with EMT printed above the brim and a long-sleeved black shirt with EMT written on the back. He was carrying a black army-style backpack.
Police are concerned for his safety as he may be a danger to himself and others. If located, do not approach, call 9-1-1.

Police will be sharing information, working together in their efforts to make our roads safer.

Homicide #1/2012, Jamahl Franklin, 20, Update, Man charged with Second Degree Murder, Baptists Bernier, 22, Police continue to appeal for witnesses
On Sunday, January 1, 2012, at 4 a.m., police responded to a call for a shooting at 101 Hupfield Trail.

On Thursday, January 5, 2012, Baptists Bernier, 22, of Toronto, was arrested and charged with Second Degree Murder.
He appeared in court on Friday, January 6, 2012.
Further investigation has revealed that photographs were taken using cameras and cell phones at the house party at 101 Hupfield Trail, where the victim was prior to his death. Police are urging anyone with any photographs to provide them to investigators.
