On Thursday, November 17, 2011, officers executed a search warrant at a home in the Yonge Street/Yonge Boulevard area.

James Robert Coulter, 41, of Toronto, has been charged with:

1. three counts Possession Child Pornography
2. Access Child Pornography
3. Attempt Access Child Pornography

James Robert Coulter is a teacher at Cosburn Middle School.

He is scheduled to appear at Toronto North Courts, 1000 Finch Avenue West, on Friday, November 18, 2011, 10 a.m., room 306.

On Wednesday, November 16, 2011, police arrested a man in connection with a sexual assault investigation.

It is alleged that:

- between Saturday, October 1, 2011 and Saturday, November 12, 2011, the accused sexually assaulted a 15-year-old girl on five occassions, in Toronto.

It is further alleged that:

- on Saturday, November 12, 2011, at 6 a.m., the accused, along with another man, sexually assault the same girl.

Arshad Ahmad, 20, Toronto, has been charged with:

1) five counts of Sexual Assault,
2) three counts of Sexual Interference,
3) Assault
4) Threaten Bodily Harm
5) Gang Sexual Assault
6) five counts of Fail to comply Probation

He was scheduled to appear in College Park Courts, on Thursday, November 17, 2011, room 507, at 10 a.m.

The second suspect is described as 20, 5’5”-6”, thin to medium build, with dark-black hair.

Police believe there may be more victims.

Between August 2011 and November 2011, members of the Toronto Police Service Drug Squad, with the assistance of Durham Regional Police Service, York Regional Police Service, Belleville Police Service and Hamilton Police Service, conducted an investigation into the alleged illicit sale and distribution of narcotics, primarily ecstasy and cocaine.

The investigation was Project Decepticon. It targeted a network of individuals alleged to be supplying and distributing ecstasy, cocaine and marijuana throughout Toronto. This investigation revealed the organization had ties to York Region, Durham Region, Hamilton and Belleville.

On Wednesday, November 16, 2011, Project Decepticon culminated with 26 search warrants executed at various addresses across the GTA.

In total, 27 people were arrested and charged with 46 drug-related offences and 70 Criminal Code offences.

It is alleged that, during the search warrants:

- approximately 23,330 ecstasy pills, weighing 5,600 grams with an estimated street value of $466,600, were seized

- approximately 28 grams of crack cocaine, with an estimated street value of $1,500, were seized

- approximately 54 grams of powder cocaine, with an estimated street value of $5,940, were seized

- approximately 230 grams of hashish, with an estimated street value of $5,750, were seized

- approximately 85 lbs. of marijuana, with an estimated street value of $343,000, were seized

- two active marijuana grow operations were dismantled, resulting in the seizure of 607 marijuana plants in various stages of growth, with an estimated street value of $607,000

- approximately $104,000 in Canadian currency was seized as proceeds of crime

- approximately $5,000 in U.S. currency was seized as proceeds of crime

- two handguns were seized during this investigation

- six vehicles were seized as offence-related property

- other valuable assets have been identified and are the subject of an ongoing investigation

The Toronto Police Service would like to make the public aware of a quantity of lost medication.

It is reported that:

- on Tuesday, November 15, 2011, at 10:30 p.m., a man boarded an east bound TTC streetcar at Roncesvalles Avenue and lost six brown bottles of methadone.

These drugs could be harmful/fatal if ingested, especially to children.

On Wednesday, November 16, 2011, at 5:37 p.m., police responded to a call for a personal injury collision, on Don Mills Road north of Overlea Boulevard.

It is reported that:

- two women were crossing Don Mills Road, north of Overlea Boulevard, mid-block, from the east side to the west side,

- the women crossed the northbound lanes, to the centre median area, and continued crossing into the southbound lanes of Don Mills Road,

- the driver of a Ford van, who was travelling southbound on Don Mills Road, struck the two women, as they crossed into the curb lane.

Both women were taken to hospital with serious injuries.

Police would like to remind pedestrians, to cross the roads at controlled locations, when possible, to avoid crossing mid-block.

Controlled intersections usually have better lighting and markings, allowing pedestrians to be more visible and predictable when lawfully crossing the street.

Elvia Saenz-Botero, 48, was last seen on Tuesday, November 15, 2011, at 11 p.m., in the Roncevalles Avenue/The Queensway area.

She is described as 5'3", 130 lbs., with shoulder length greying hair. She was last seen wearing glasses and speaks with a Spanish accent.

She may be driving a 1998 green Subaru Forester with Ontario licence plate AXXJ 811. She may also have her dog with her, a yellow Labrador Retriever.

Police are concerned for her safety.
